While we have a few jewelers at Market that sell silver, Jorge is the only one who still plies Los Muertos beach selling to tourists comfortably ensconced in their chairs enjoying Vallarta’s sunshine. Jorge has many customers who wait for him eagerly to pass by with promised treasures he has had made especially for them. And, on Friday mornings, his clientele comes to him. He greets them by name with a huge, dimpled smile and hugs. He listens carefully to what each customer wants and, if he doesn’t have it, will search for it and in a day or two, will find you on the beach “to deliver the goods.” He is always as kind as he is fair. Look for him every Friday!
