2012 Tourism Expo´s Symbolic Logo
The upcoming 2012 Tourism Expo, co-hosted by Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit in March, the official launch nearly three months away, has released its symbolic logo and website for the event.
Based on an ancient ball game that our forefathers practiced as a ritual, the Tourism Expo logo takes the shape of a symbolic ring through which the this ball was passed. This ring is divided into five parts as described below:
• Pink Pyramid: to represent our culture, our roots, colors and pyramids..png)
• Green Leaf: to represent adventure, our beautiful topography and ecology.
•Yellow Hands: to represent business, treaties and exchange.
• Silver Diamonds: to represent luxury 5 diamond tourism.
• Blue Waves: to represent the beach and the sun.
"Our roots, our heritage, our culture are a part but we mean to show that Mexico is much more... Mexico is culture, Mexico is adventure, Mexico is business, Mexico is luxury, and Mexico is sun and beach."
